Mathematics and Science to be taught in BM, vernacular languages
The Cabinet decided on Wednesday that Mathematics and Science will be taught in Bahasa Malaysia and vernacular languages in stages from 2012 onwards. Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who announced this, however, said more emphasis would be placed on learning English.

Hmm.. Malaysia Boleh ah? Having it taught in Bahasa Malaysia would definitely give those with BM mother tongue a better understanding in Math and Science but if we're gonna compete with the world out there, BM isn't sucha widely used language. Most famous books on Math and Science are written in English. Good colleges and universities out there are being taught in English. From what i heard, apparently this is all about moving towards a 'Bangsa Malaysia' thing. YES BM is our national language, but i just don't think putting nostalgia and heritage in this is gonna work. We're living in the 21th century yo! Sejarah has taught us enough of how the great people brought us independence. We've learnt and we're grateful; now can we move on?
.
It's just what i think after putting myself in you lil ones position anyway. No offence or whatsoever. I'll of course still be doing my papers in english this year:)

oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAAAY NATTIE WIFEY:) xoxo

PLAYING HARD. STUDY HARD? It's about time now.

July dy lah,

Hi :)

It's one of those moments where you feel like blogging but don't know where to start. mm.. whatever comes in mind will do.

I realised how much i cannot take the feeling of being punished for something i didnt do on purpose. To think there will ever be the day i actually bother what i do might affect the younger ones would come. No doubt we learn from people who are older than us, we look up to them simply because they've lived a few more years than us, so it's a natural thing to feel whatever they do is right. That of course excludes obvious wrong doings like smoking etc. Its hard not to realise the way the juniors speak to you shows that they respect you and want to learn from you. Doesn't this then gives you (seniors) a sense of responsibility since secondary IS a growing stage for everyone. It's a phase where people usually change most in their lives; from everything you think you do is right but is wrong to time where you feel your responsibility level starts to multiply. Hence, it's important for us korkors and jiejies to watch what we do and what we say, so we wouldn't be in any crime for bad influence etc.

Denggg! National Service! :x 'Tahniah! Anda terpilih menyertai PLKN Siri 7/2010.' Oh great.

Daddy just burst my little bubble! He screaming RIGHT NOW, but he's right. Parents-teacher meeting yesterday and my results did suck. Mummy's complaining alllll about the nothing-to-do-with-SPM events/activities. Sigh, gotto go.

Seems like not that much things came to mind. Toodles!
